Developing Independence
Description
Around nine months of age – a period during which independence begins to develop – you may notice that your baby likes to try to eat on their own. Also, it is not at all strange, by the end of the first year, for babies who previously ate normally to start developing food fussiness. This is due to the fact that at this stage, children's weight gain slows down significantly, resulting in a proportional decrease in their appetite. By now, your baby's mobility will have increased so much that instead of sitting "stuck" in their high chair and being fed, they want to constantly move around the room and show off their new skills.
In this book, you will find many recipes that will encourage your baby to eat on their own, and at the same time, you will ensure that they continue to enjoy many new and interesting foods. You will also get a lot of information about the foods you can try giving them at the age between nine and twelve months and on related topics that you will encounter during their development.
